Probably the best restaurant in NY. Phenomenal food and perfect service. Though it was busy, it was not loud. Views of Manhattan are worth the trip alone.

If you’re going to treat yourself to a nice meal with spectacular views, this is the place you want to go. We had a great meal, from starters to desert. The food was prepared perfectly on every course. All the staff didn’t miss a beat when it came to the service as well. I’d recommend if your celebrating or want a nice quiet evening with a view of the Manhattan skyline or Brooklyn bridge.

The spot is superb and roomy, the menu was yummy and the rates were very inexpensive. fast, efficient service and very friendly staff members. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

My favorite place in the world. Flawless service, elegant and fancy. Foods is excellent and consistent. Great view, great ambiance with piano player. Complimentary valet parking. Pleasant staff, very welcoming. Can't get any better for your journey.

Highly overrated. The food was good and a beautiful view. Had to request bread three times before it arrived. It felt like they were rushing us out. $900 bill for four people? Not worth it.

My girlfriend took me here for my birthday. Everything was phenomenal. Really fancy and romantic but also nice with a group of friends.

While I didn't find it deserving of a Michelin Star, the staff was very attentive and the food was good. This is the only restaurant with a breakfast tasting menu I am currently aware of (there should be more) and during it, I had the best pancake I have ever eaten in my life. That said, the rustic aquatic decor seems dated, especially with the view of the modern buildings that have made this place iconic. They have a beautiful spread of fresh flowers and manicured grounds, so the floral aesthetic and greenery are lovely. Overall, I found it overpriced.

I celebrated my birthday today in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that we passed a enjoyable evening and the restaurant was evidently one of the reasons for the fruitful event. The stuff helped in a splendid style, the cooking was yummy and my friends were so happy. We shall no dout return for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

One of the best meals in NYC. The service was exceptional. Very knowledgeable and attentive. The quality of the dishes was far beyond what the price is. And the view on top of that. Room is beautiful with fresh flowers at every table! Will be back!

OMG! Delicious. The staff is Amazing. We had shrimp and salmon as appetizer, so much flavor, just melts in your mouth. Then the steak and duck, aaaaamazing. The place is expensive but worth it. We had our anniversary here. I'll be back in 10 years :)

Beautiful location, we were relocated to a table overlooking the bridge. Service was absolutely amazing, a must go to restaurant!!

Located in iconic and picturesque Dumbo, Brooklyn, The River Cafe has all of the makings of a truly upper class dining experience. They require reservations months in advance and formal dining attire. The staff were all pleasant and the service is top notch. Food was on par with most up scale restaurants. Though the overall ambience, service, and presentation was impressive, it's still very difficult to justify the $$$$$ price tag

Formal attire.And money of course...This is a fancy place, but a really good one.The greetings, the attention, the politeness, everything on point. Yes is pricey but like I said, the view, the service and the food were amazing!!A place you definitely want to go and enjoy with your friends or family.Live piano concert, beautiful decorations, clean bathrooms, nothing to complain.Believe me when I say, IT'S WORTHY!And yes, the flowers are real. 👌🏻😍

To explain the Title I have to say that our reservation was at 20:30 and due to a transportation problem we were arriving late. We called the Restaurant and they told us that they could hold the table for 15 minutes. We were 45 minutes delayed...when we arrived, really disappointed they received us with a smile and they told us not to be worried, they still had our table, just a few minutes waiting...when after no more than 10 minutes waiting they gave us our table the Maitre whispered us “ bad things happened always for a good reason” while he was sitting us on a window table with an incredible view to Manhattan. Amazing service, incredible food and really and incredible atmosphere...thank you very much to everyone related with our romantic dinner last Saturday. Employees like those make the difference. Congratulations.

This place is worth a try. They serve big portions for affordable prices. Always neat and with good vibes. Will visit here again.

This is the perfect spot for couples. It is pricey but the view is fantastic. also the food is delicious. you get to choose an appetizer, main course and dessert (small portions except for the 16 oz steak). the service was excellent. nice romantic ambiance too.

If you do one thing in your life, it should be to fine hear! We had the incredible Megan looking after us - it’s a night I will never ever forget & am so grateful to have experienced!

A night to remember. Everything was just right. They made a lovely fuss of us having just got engaged. A beautiful view of city lights and brooklyn bridge on the water from any table. Wonderful quality food and wine, lovely ambiance. I could go on... Yes it is a high price but with high return.

Fabulous meal that wasn’t overly long or stuffy. The food was top notch and rather creative and while pricey, you do get what you pay for. Awesome for a special occasion, I highly recommend taking the ferry here to really complete the NYC experience.

They were fantastic to work with! They worked with me to get my roof done for a quick sale of my house and went above and beyond expectations. They came in right on their initial estimate which. Was extremely competitive, had professional staff and even set up a meeting with the new buyers of my house to go over the process and ensure them of the quality of work.the tech was very responsive and helped me get through a very stressful house closure and I’d highly recommend working with him and C&D

We went here on the 17th December in the evening. We travelled from the uk and had booked for a meal we were totally impressed by the venue, atmosphere, food, service and staff The views were amazing. I would totally recommend this place and cannot wait to go back there again

Wow, just wow. This restaurant is everything I could have asked for. Great attention, accommodations, and the food was just spectacular. Every item brought out had a clear level of culinary thought that brought out distinct flavors. Though it is quite expensive, the most expensive meal I have ever had in New York thus far, I can honestly say it has been the best dining experience I have ever had. We ordered the scallops and pork belly as well as the roasted rabbit with lasagna appetizers. I ordered the steak and my date ordered the lamb. We both asked for the brooklyn bridge chocolate cake for dessert. Everything from start to finish was phenomenal. I honestly probably wouldn't order the roasted rabbit appetizer again, but otherwise I would order everything exactly the same. I would love to return some day.
